Galway’s oldest Indian restaurant, Kashmir is established by Bhan family who named in after their homeland, the beautiful Valley of Kashmir, described by one of the mogul emperors as “paradise on earth”. The restaurant was originally located in Mary Street where it quickly gained a reputation for friendly hospitality and exceptional cuisine. In 2000 due to its popularity and the need for extra space the restaurant moved to its present home in Kilderry House (opposite Galway Fire Station).As the name suggest, Kashmir serves the most celebrated cuisines from the world- Indian & Nepalese cuisines . A little twist to your taste, we strive our best to introduce the authentic taste from the land of Himalayas & India . We believe about reviving soul to the recipe through our unique way of cooking.
